Join two internationally published photographers, Lou Freeman and Larry Marchant for an inspirational day of learning and insight into the world of glamour photography as they share from their individual approaches to capturing the essence of feminine beauty.

From building synergistic relationships with your models, to bringing their visual-essence to life through posing and lighting, Lou and Larry will share from their combined decades of experience in the professional industries of glamour and fashion photography.

With a history of educating through workshops in Europe and across America, as well as lecturing at universities and museums, this duo of award winning photographers enjoy sharing and helping other photographers reach their full potential.  Here you’ll be able to meet and learn from them one on one.

This full day workshop, with both instructors sharing their own style of intensive programs which will include their top tips and techniques. The individual group lectures will be followed by short on set discussions, demonstrations and individual shooting sessions with four models at Photoplex Studios in Alpharetta, Ga.

Special Information:

Studio lighting is Provided with various modifiers as well as creative sets and concepts on site with for  everyone to work with within each program. 

We welcome all levels of Photographers and camera gear although it would be best to bring a camera with a hot shoe and your own lens kit varied from 24-200mm.

*Signed Model Release agreements will be required from each Photographer who attends the workshops and paid for at workshop checkin. No one will be allowed into the program who does not have their release agreements signed, paid for and/or who is not a part of the program.Signed Model releases will be exchanged at the end of the day and will encompass commercial uses only before everyone leaves. Expect to see 4-6  models on set depending on group size.

Make up artists are a must for any excellent photo sessions. We will have one and an assistant on set. Gratuities are always appreciated.

Lunch and refreshments:  Lunch is on your own. We suggest Jasons Deli across the street from Photo Plex Studios, We will have Simple Snacks, Water, Sodas & Coffee.

This is a Non Refundable program, however exchanges are optional depending on conditions.

  • 8:30-9:00am:        Meet and Greet,Groups formed.
  • 9:00-10:00am       Intro, Lectures, (30 minutes each)
  • 10:00-1:00pm:      Session 1 2,3,4
  • 1:00-2:00pm:        Lunch, Network, Q & A.
  • 2:00-5:00pm        Session 4,5,6,7
  • 5:00-5:30pm        Wrap Up, Model Release Exchange
