Wild Horse Photography | Rob Daugherty Workshop Summary
Rob Daugherty’s Wild Horse Photography workshop in Utah was one you wouldn’t want to miss. With all of Utah’s natural scenery and access to several state and national parks within short driving distance it is not doubt an excellent place to capture with the art of photography. Rob Daugherty has been relaxing in nature (and photographing it too) ever since he picked up photography. He truly believes that there’s something magical about looking into an animal’s eyes and feeling the intensity of their emotion.
Workshop attendees were able to capture this magic themselves as they embarked on this immersive experience! Participants left early in the morning around 6 am from North Salt Lake. With their cameras, memory cards, and fully charged batteries they spent the day amidst a huge herd of wild horses. Each attendee saw and captured everything from horses grazing and chasing each other to mares nursing their colts. In addition to learning key wildlife photography skills, they were also able to sight-see and truly absorb the nature around them.
During this workshop participants were able to invest in themselves and create lifetime memories that were worth every penny! One on one filed photography experience with a professional photographer, lot’s of time in front of wild horses, personalized specific tips to photographing wildlife, and techniques on how to get “the” image were just a few of the participant perks and takeaways.
