First off I would like to say excellent blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself
and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing
my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any ideas or hints? Thanks!
Beautiful image! I shoot slide film all the time…doesn’t mean it wasn’t photoshopped…besides who cares if it was!! “I don’t shoot images…I make images.”…Ansel Adams
Sorry this was taken in China lol at tea leaf farm

You’re absolutely right! Thanks for the catch!

Really? Y’all missed the white in the reflection TWICE? The turquoise thong could’ve been edited a bit better too. Sigh. That’s not photographic skills.

Oh man! You’re right! How could we have missed that? Thanks for catching it. I guess sometimes you’re so focused on other parts of the image you completely miss things that are obvious to others. Since this is a photography site about learning, do you have advice on how to edit it better?
Kevin is a great photographer and teacher. Well organize and know how to do business on photography. I learn many aspects of photography as well the business part. How important is contacts the right people to any project on your mine. I recommend him as a photographer as well to his well known photography class.
I love this photo! Thank you for sharing – the lighting is perfect which reflects not only his very handsome features, but I think, it also captures his soul, his beauty. Thank you for the lighting tips!

That is a really good tip particularly to those fresh
to the blogosphere. Simple but very precise info… Thanks
for sharing this one. A must read article!

Very nice photo, but I think the editor’s note is mistaken in calling those lower lying clouds rain clouds. They’re just scattered clouds.

I think you’re right, David! We’ve made the change!
personally not a fan of March,14th photo of the day… I feel like it could of been better-maybe photographing a different area of the beach, or just a close up of the palm trees. That is just my opinion. Thanks

what an inspiration for International Slow Art Day, Sat. April 16th! Many years ago, a local artist, Linda Relis, demonstrated Chiaroscuro, with a dozen observers watching her canvas & the life model beyond. As she wiped away areas of the thick buttery paint covering the canvas, everyone gasped at the same moment, when the image practically jumped out of the canvas. Bouquets & Thank you. I love the image.

Love this photograph. I too started a church project here in Bermuda. I haven’t finished, but hope too one day.
Many thanks, Brendon. Like you, I hope to finish my project one day, and even publish a book. I wish New Mexico was closer to the East Coast where I live so I could work on it more often.

Was there supposed to be a how-to here (as per the title of the email that brought me here)?
fisheye_adminPost author
Hi! That how-to is in the camera settings listed in the post =) That way everyone can get creative on their own! Good Luck! Can’t wait to see your outcome!

Great photographs. Brilliant lighting.
Gorgeous sunrise
Very nice photo.
Amazing!
This photo is so much better than it would have been without the photographer.
Beautiful landscape! Nice composition and processing resulting in a TACK (not tact) sharp image!
haha!! Thanks for the catch! Fixing right away!!
wondering what lens was used?
Great capture and composition.
It’s photo ops like this in far away lands and peoples that makes international travel and exploration so worthwhile.
