INSPIRATIONAL PHOTO OF THE DAY
FEC Editor’s notes: When shooting fast moving subject..like ocean waves… you want to make sure you have a high shutter speed, which will probably pair nicely with a higher f-stop to make sure the whole wave is in focus. We are loving the water drops frozen in time before crashing down in a foamy beautiful wave. Along the Federal Breakwater in San Pedro, California, Retired Coastal Lifeguard follows the different lighting and surf conditions, capturing them spectacularly. The rice blue sky contrasting against the white sea foam at the top of the wave draws you in. And the motion of the wave keeps you wanting more. Great stuff, Joel!
