INSPIRATIONAL PHOTO OF THE DAY
FEC Editor’s notes: At first look, landscapes can seem simple, easy even. But real photographer knows there’s always more to a landscape. Landscapes have opportunity to tell a story, to reveal emotion, to connect to its’ viewer! We love this landscape in the Isle of Skye by Mark Maio. Mark has made many choice here, starting with composition! He implements a suggestion of rule of thirds, allowing his sky to take up 2/3rds of the image. His horizon line is low to the bottom of the image, but shows you enough to give you an idea of the vastness of its land. Look at the emotion in the clouds! Thanks for sharing Mark!
