INSPIRATIONAL PHOTO OF THE DAY
FEC Editor’s notes: Everyone can appreciate a good waterfall, so why not extra appreciate one in the beautiful Isle of Skye, Ireland? When photographing a waterfall in daylight, you’ll definitely need a tripod and probably a neutral density filter. The tripod is needed so you can have a low enough shutter speed so the water turns that flow-y, milk-y look. You can’t do that hand holding your camera. The neutral density filter is so you can shoot with a high f-stop, a low shutter speed, and a low ISO if it’s in the middle of the day to help reduce the amount of light going into your camera.
