FEC Editor’s Notes: This image is all about waiting for the moment. Photography Flip Chalfant was in Utah, at a pretty popular spot, when some darker clouds started forming. All of the tourists and other photographers decided it was time to pack up and head up. Not Flip, he stuck around and captured this image. Flip is known for his skills of perfecting an image in-camera. This image, taken on 35mm slide film has had zero post processing. We are thankful for your patience, your tripod and long exposure for this fantastic image!
