INSPIRATIONAL PHOTO OF THE DAY
FEC Editor’s notes: When you attend a workshop by Rob’s Wildlife, you’ll not be disappointed. This is an image from one of his Utah landscape workshops. Going out in the super early morning is the key for this gorgeous soft lighting. You’ll want a tripod for shooting with your long lens, as well as a faster shutter speed to capture the motion of the running horses. Rob’s eye for the horizon line is also important to point out. It is perfectly composed so that it does not intersect the main subject. The horizon provides a point of reference and a gorgeous backdrop for this wild horses. We are loving the soft color pallet that makes us forget this is a photograph and instead see it as a painting!
