Hello everyone and welcome to the new Fisheye Connect! My name is Mike Moreland and I’m excited to announce that I am now the new owner of this website. Professional photography has been my passion for the past 30 years, in Atlanta. Inclusively, I own and instruct, for the past 10 years, my very own photography workshop business, Creative Edge Photography Workshops. Therefore, my experiences and passion of booking workshops and teaching photography has led me to Fisheye Connect. I want to assist photographers all around the world with a platform for hosting their hands-on photography workshops. New students are constantly wondering, “how can I find a specific workshop in my area or one where I am traveling?” From the obvious need of a photography directory, Fisheye Connect was born.

Fisheye Connect has been around for the past 7 years and was launched in 2010. Our love for the idea behind this website led to us becoming the new owners in October 2016. We have always been believers of Fisheye Connect but are realizing the site needs some cleaning up. Therefore, we are paving way to the newly built website from scratch, bringing It into the responsive and mobile friendly world.

The rest is available for you at the workshop. This includes models, lighting equipment, instructors, tips, other photographers, amazing props, and of course an awesome setting! –Intermediate Photographers: You can bring any personal equipment with you that you may already have and would like to further your knowledge on. Maybe you already have great knowledge on photography but have a few questions about a certain topic or piece of equipment. We have instructors there to answer any questions you may have! There will also be other photographers there with the same level of knowledge and you may want to do some networking.. Fisheye is perfect for you!
–Professional Photographers: Are you a professional photographer? Great! We will provide the models and setting for the high quality images you plan on capturing. Also, the instructors websites may even provide you with some high-end editing tools you may be looking for like Photoshop tips or Lightroom presets. If your in the mood for teaching, you may also post your workshops for people to attend. - All instructors will also be the ones considered for our Podcast and the mask head on the website to help promote your workshops.
- Many of my photo shoots each year come from students that have attended a workshop because these are people that love photography so they may book you for personal or commercial assignments.
- Most instructors received payments shortly after a student books a workshop seat.
