Fisheye Connect is excited to be promoting the workshops of Kevin Schmitz,  a widely known TV Director, host of Great Escape (a television program airing to over 2 million viewers worldwide and presented on Amazon and Hulu), and accomplished fashion/lifestyle photographer of major celebrity advertising and campaigns, as well as the Director of the Photography Workshop Series. He is also a skillful cinematographer, often traveling to shoot worldwide, and shooting in locations such as Paris, New York, and Dubai. Schmitz offers a variety of unique photography workshops in which participants may learn to shoot categories such as fashion, swim, lifestyle, etc, in various locations around the globe.

Schmitz specializes in dramatic, colorful images that often portray his models in expressive, unique, and breathtaking ways.

Kevin Schmitz has shot for over 80 magazine covers and editorials worldwide, working with models and fashion brands. His passion includes creating powerful, timeless images with focus on the model and overall mood. His photos often render the viewer speechless.

Following his graduation with a bachelor’s degree in photography, Kevin Schmitz pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Photography at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. He then went on to found the “Photography Workshop Series” in 2009, Sponsored by ProFoto worldwide. Schmitz also guest lectures at UCLA, universities, seminars, art seminars, and art schools worldwide, and was honored as “The Distinguished Alumni of the Year” at his alma mater.
