Colorado Horseback Photography | Episode 3: Christopher Marona
In this episode, Mike interviews well-known photographer from Colorado Christopher Marona. They talk about Christopher’s style, information about his western styled and cowboy overnight photography workshops, and tips for you, the photographer! We hope you enjoy the show!
A professional photographer for over two decades, Christopher Marona has achieved national acclaim for his dramatic lighting. When not shooting for commercial clients, he enjoys sharing his passion with students and guests at his photography workshops and tours.
Marona’s workshops are truly unlike no other. Several of his introductory and digital workshops are held in a classroom. In Marona’s immersive experience the workshop attendee spends five days in 500,000 acres of wilderness. No motorized vehicles are allowed, so attendees travel by horseback and camp out overnight in the great outdoors. Surrounded by giant waterfalls during peak wildflower season, students will experience the tranquility and excitement of capturing Earth’s natural beauty.
Since you’re with cowboy photography specialist Christopher Marona the whole time, conversations about a variety of photography techniques are discussed in depth. Truly a life changing experience in terms of photography education, this experience is not the kind you can get from watching a video.
Marona’s workshops specialize in producing unique, educational, and memorable photographic opportunities tailored for small groups. Limiting the size of his tours to ten (less in some cases) enables him to provide one on one attention in a personal, non-intimidating setting. Marona and his team are here to show you wonderful photography tips and make you a better photographer. They have built a reputation spanning two decades for offering one of the most hands-on, personal photography programs available.
For the seasoned professional and the newbie alike, there is always something new to learn. That’s what’s so cool about photography. You’ll find that they are eager to share skills and techniques that can be used wherever your travels may take you.
And, of course, they want you to come back! So, Marona and his team are committed to making your workshop experience unique, educational, inspirational and fun.
