Best Atlanta Photography Studio Rental | Photoplex Studios
I, Mike Moreland, have found the best Atlanta photography studio rental service. I have been a Photographer for the past 30 years, and at the majority of my Creative Edge workshops I get asked about my professional studio space. Photoplex Studios is my unfailing studio rental recommendation.
For Photographers that operate out of their homes or have smaller studios like me, you know that usage is limited to smaller jobs. For this reason and many more, I use this Atlanta photography studio rental for my high profile Commercial Photography needs, when I have larger shoots, or am hosting a studio based Creative Edge Workshop. Whether I have needed to photograph models, actors, or just desire a more professional location for various shoots, Photoplex Studios has always provided.
Once my customers or workshop attendees arrive they are always thoroughly impressed. Photoplex Studios is equipped with 1,500 sq feet of shooting space, a 24 foot ceiling, a full kitchen, private dressing and makeup rooms, huge psych walls, enormous prop area, wardrobes, and furniture. You can rent out Studio A or Studio B at different rates depending on your intended level of usage. Three different membership rates include the Basic (2 hours/month), Intermediate (8 hours/month), and Active Pro (16 hours/month) plans. There are also options for non-members that include hourly, full day, and half day rates.
There is are also two client lounges, a conference room, computer workspaces, an area for equipment storage, and more. Although this is just the physical aspect, the largest benefits come from the host of amenities available. These include high speed internet, digital imaging and wide format digital printing work, equipment rentals, wide selection of seamless paper and Muslin backgrounds, variety of props, a Kitchenette, and catering services to name a few.
This studio rental space also includes a wide variety of lighting equipment, props, backgrounds, and various other resources to rent for a broad range of studio needs. The wonderful upside to this equipment rental feature is that even if you do own your own equipment, you don’t have to pack it all up and carry it all the way there. We use this membership system and highly recommend their services.
Also, convenience and dependability is a huge part of why I enjoy using their services. If you are on the phone or in a consultation with a client and need space, the booking process is quick and efficient. I have been on many a phone call where a client asks me when I am available. All I have to do is look at the Google Calendar that they use for booking and choose an available time slot.
I met the owner, Mike Noah, some time ago and through working with him since I have realized that he is a great guy and extremely easy to work with. You may need to use the space after or before opening and closing hours, and I have personally found that he is always glad to accommodate your needs.
I am not the only one who admires the studio and it’s many amenities. To name a few, Photo District News featured Mike Noah and Photoplex Studios in an article about membership photography studios, Lou Freeman uses this rental space for her workshops, and David Beckstead traveled from D.C. to use Photoplex Studios for his Dynamic Style Workshop. Overall, Photoplex Studios is an incredible deal and I personally recommend it to anyone in need of studio space and equipment.
