3G Aviation Media was created from two aviation photographers, Doug Glover and Tony Granata, who had a passion to provide outstanding and concentrated instruction to the aviation photography enthusiast.
Doug Glover and Tony Granata host an array of workshops that are aviation-directed experiences. Ground-based workshops involve a lecture session where photographers of all levels are introduced to techniques that will teach the students on a variety of ways to capture the integrated or entire aircraft, in addition to focusing on smaller details and the incredible artisan-ship that are intrinsically a part of classic air frames. Also taught is the proper care and safety required for vintage aircrafts. Ground-based workshops present an assortment of stationary aircraft layouts for photographers to shoot and conclude with a special sunset/twilight photoshoot that will challenge and provide a unique opportunity not available to most people that frequent airshows.
Ground-based workshops are just the beginning for 3G. Air-to-air photography classes are held throughout the year. They comprise of an assortment of subject aircraft and includes a photoship aircraft to work from. Correct safety procedures are taught to the photographers for shooting from photoships at the workshop. Clients are also trained in image compositions that have been choreographed with the pilots by the 3G team.
3G is committed to create links between clients and photographers by providing a progression of aviation-centric photo editing workshops. Editing images, workflow management, software tutorials are just a few items these amazing workshops touch base on. If you would like to sign up for one of these amazing workshops, click here.
