Lighting and Storytelling

Award-winning photographer and author Ian Spanier will share how he approaches photo shoots using light to tell a story and how to strategically approach your lighting before the shoot & what to do when the best-laid plans fall through. Demo included!

As Photographers, our job is to tell a story. We are, after all, capturing a moment in time. Lighting is just as much a part of telling that story as the subject of the image is. In this lecture, award-winning photographer and author Ian Spanier will share his concepts for how he approaches photo shoots to tell a story and how to strategically approach your lighting before the shoot- and what to do when the best-laid plans fall through. Aside from time for Q&A also included is a live demo of one of Ian's many lighting techniques.

Added Bonus: A Lowepro Bag will be given away to one of the event's attendees!
